Plaintiff Panos Alifieris was injured at JFK International Airport during the course of his employment with third-party defendant Olympic Airlines, allegedly as the result of the tortious conduct of defendant Mary Cooper, an employee of defendant American Airlines, Inc., and her husband, defendant Don Cooper. Alifieris and his wife sued defendants, claiming that Don Cooper had intentionally assaulted him and that Cooper and his wife had negligently struck him.
