In August 1979, Andreas Papafagos, then resident in Nashua, New Hampshire, purchased a new Fiat Strada motor vehicle from Cavanaugh Brothers Motors, Inc. (“Cavanaugh”), a New Hampshire incorporated retail motor vehicle dealer with a usual place of business in Manchester, New Hampshire. The vehicle had been manufactured in Italy by Fiat Auto, S.p.A.
