JOHNSON, J.:
¶ 1 In rewriting Section 9545 of the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA) in 1995, the legislature established a time limit within which a petitioner must file a petition for post-conviction collateral relief. The legislature set forth three exceptions in the 1995 amendment under which that limitation could be excused.
