HOUSER, Commissioner.
This is a suit on a life insurance policy. Tried before a jury in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, judgment was rendered for plaintiff for $1,000, the • face amount of the policy. The insurance company has appealed.
On February 6, 1956, one month after he was paroled from Missouri State Penitentiary, Frank Bird applied for and effective that date appellant issued a policy in the sum of $1,000, insuring the life of the applicant.
