The Manchester Fire Assurance Company brought this suit against the Insurance Company of the State of Illinois to recover upon an alleged contract of oral insurance, filing a declaration containing two special counts and the common counts. Defendant pleaded the general issue. The parties stipulated that any evidence competent under proper pleadings might be introduced. A judgment for plaintiff was reversed in 77 Ill. App. 673.
