ELMORE, Judge.

Moss Trucking Company, Inc. (defendant Moss Trucking), and Protective Insurance Company (together, defendants) appeal from the 22 May 2008 opinion and award entered by the North Carolina Industrial Commission. The opinion by the majority of the Industrial Commission found in favor of William Sykes (plaintiff) and reinstated his temporary total disability benefits and medical compensation benefits. Defendants argue that the findings of fact made by the Industrial Commission majority are not supported by competent evidence, nor are its conclusions of law justified by its findings…
