The three female plaintiffs herein, Edna Norton (“Norton”), Patricia Badlam (“Bad-lam”), and Susan McGregor (“McGregor”), commenced the instant litigation against the Defendants Reynolds Metals Company (“Reynolds”) and The Aluminum Brick and Glass Workers International Union Local No. 450 (the “Union”) asserting claims pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), New York State Human Rights Law § 296 (“HRL”), and common law causes of action for negligent hiring, retention and supervision.
