This is an original application for a writ of habeas corpus directed to the sheriff of TTfng county, requiring him to restore the petitioner to his lib*54erty. Erom the petition and return it appears that on August 17, 1899, one Sarah Kate Groen, wife of the petitioner, filed in the superior court of King county her complaint seeking a divorce, and incidentally that she be decreed the owner of, and entitled to the possession of, certain property described in the complaint.
