This case involves the award of post-judgment interest on a claims commission judgment1 against the state.

In Austin v. State, 796 S.W.2d 449 (Tenn.1991), the Supreme Court affirmed the judgment of the circuit court awarding damages to the Austins in the amount of $300,000.00.
