In the complaint filed by the Oklahoma Bar Association against one of its members, Joe Robertson, it is alleged that respondent violated Canons 6 and 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility in the course of representing Ronald R. McGinnis in a case referred to him, then in the Tulsa County District Court. The case was referred by Mr. McGinnis’s Kansas attorney and respondent was paid a retainer plus the costs of removing the action to Federal Court.
