These appeals for reappraisement involve certain brisling sardines in olive oil and certain kipper snacks, exported from Norway during the period from March 8, 1958, to December 5, 1959.
The merchandise was appraised on the basis of export value under the provisions of section 402(b) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended by the Customs Simplification Act of 1956, Public Law 927 (70 Stat. 948), T.D. 54165, by reason of the fact that the merchandise in question is not specified in the final list (T.D. 54521), published by the Secretary of the Treasury, pursuant to section 6(a) of…
