Oscar Stockton was awarded social security benefits after administrative and district court proceedings. Stockton thereafter moved for approval of attorney fees in the amount of $11,302.50 pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA), 28 U.S.C. § 2412. The magistrate recommended a reduced award of $5,218.50, and the district court adopted the magistrate’s recommendation and entered an order awarding Stockton fees in that amount.
