DONALD RUSSELL, Circuit Judge:
This is a diversity action filed by a husband and wife to recover damages sustained as a result of an automobile accident. The wife sues to recover for her personal injuries; the husband for loss of services of his four-year-old daughter (also injured in the accident and for whom a separate action of damages was brought) and for medical expenses, past and future, incurred on account of the wife’s and daughter’s injuries; and the husband and wife jointly for the loss of consortium sustained by the husband on account of the wife’s injuries.1 The trial judge, D.C.,…
