The case was made to turn below upon the sufficiency of the proof of the execution of the note sued on to entitle plaintiff to go to the jury.
As to defendant C. L. Beddingfield plaintiff offered the testimony of a witness, an employee of the State Treasurer’s office, whose duty it was to pass on the genuineness of the signatures on checks and vouchers passing through that office.
