MINTON, Circuit Judge.

This is an action for the negligent operation of a tractor-trailer truck unit by the defendant on North Avenue in the City of Chicago. The plaintiff recovered judgment, from which the defendant appeals.

North Avenue runs in an east and west direction. There are east and westbound Street car tracks in the center of the street. Approximately 150 feet west of the intersection of Milwaukee and North avenues and on the north side of North Avenue is an entrance to a passageway leading to the premises of the Capitol Wine and Liquor Company.
