For some time prior to the month of March, 1929, the plaintiff was engaged in the restaurant business in the village of Plymouth, across the street from the Mayflower Hotel, owned and operated by the defendant company. On the 25th day of that month a written agreement was executed by the parties, whereby the defendant leased to the plaintiff the dining room, coffee shoppe and kitchen, and the equipment thereof, for the term of three years, beginning on April 1, 1929.
