The questions presented by respondent’s motion to quash the writ of habeas corpus are both interesting and novel. They grow out of the following state of facts:
The Vanderburgh county probate court of Indiana appointed Inez B. Crandall administratrix of the estate of her husband, who met his death while operating a locomotive engine for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company, which was a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Kentucky and engaged in interstate and intrastate commerce in the states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, and…
