The defendants appeal from a judgment in favor of plaintiff.
The action was brought to quiet plaintiff’s title to a bridge called “The Big Bar Bridge” crossing the Mokelumne River, and to quiet title to a portion of the road leading to the bridge at either end. At Big Bar, where the bridge crosses, the thread of the Mokelumne River forms the boundary between Amador and Calaveras counties. The latter county is on the left bank of the river.
