On Monday, January 23, 1956, at approximately 7:30 a. m., an automobile operated by Stewart Earl Jennings (Stewart) in which his brother, Donald S. Jennings (Donald) was a passenger, was involved in a collision on Suitland Parkway, property of the United States, and under the control of the National Capitol Park Bureau, Department of the Interior. Stewart was killed, and Donald sustained serious and permanent injuries.
