The appellant and appellees and their parents were comakers of a promissory note for one thousand dollars secured by a mortgage of property in' which they were all interested. After the death of the payee intestate the note and mortgage were transferred to his widow by the administrator of his estate. Upon -the failure of the appellant to continue the payment of the interest, to which he had attended since the inception of the indebtedness, the appellees were compelled to pay the amount of the principal and interest in order to avoid a foreclosure of the mortgage.
