Defendant Lorraine D. Gleason appeals from the district court’s 1 judgment entered on a jury verdict convicting her on one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States by obstructing the Department of Treasury in collection of income taxes in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371, and two counts of aiding in the preparation of fraudulent income tax returns in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(2) 2 . On July 6, 1984, the district court sentenced Gleason to two years imprisonment on the conspiracy count, with all but six months suspended, and three years probation…
