EVERETT, Chief Judge:

A special court-martial sitting at Camp Hovey, Korea, tried the accused for the possession, sale, and transfer of marihuana on June 3, 1981, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934. Contrary to his general pleas of not guilty, the accused was convicted of the possession and sale offenses; and the *225court-martial sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 4 months, and reduction to the grade of Private E-l.
