Defendant moves to suppress cocaine, glassine baggies, personal items, including a bag, a photo id, and pieces of mail addressed to the defendant showing ownership or tenancy of the apartment, all of which were seized pursuant to a warrant targeting apartment No. 1, 444 West Main Street, Rochester, New York. The defendant’s primary contention is that the police improperly entered the apartment and conducted a search therein prior to the procurement of a search warrant.
