Appellee, Arthur Briggs, was born in 1890. While engaged in unloading sawlogs for his ■•.employer, Peavy-Moore Lúmber Company, on •the 24th day of March, 1930, he was struck by thé logs and knocked- a distance of about 15 feet, from which' he suffered serious bodily injuries.
