This appeal arises from the district court’s entry of summary judgment in favor of the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) against the plaintiffs Castleglen, Inc. and Larry B. Harvey (together hereafter Castleglen).1 The plaintiffs brought an action for damages flowing from alleged misrepresentations made to them in connection with the purchase of a parcel of real estate and, in the alternative, for rescission of the entire transaction.
