I. INTRODUCTION
In this decision we assess the propriety of the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of appellee Resolution Trust Corporation based upon the D’Oench, Duhme doctrine. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
II. FACTS
This case arises from the banking relationship of Michael D. Jones, Robert A. Guskiew-icz, R.S. Futch, Jr., and Lake Pickett, Ltd. (collectively “Jones”) with the financial institution of Freedom Savings & Loan Association (“Freedom”). Beginning in 1979, Jones obtained several personal and…
