This is an action by the plaintiff for the specific performance of an alleged contract betwen him and the defendant for the sale of the defendant’s one-half interest in a partnership business owned by them. The plaintiff and the defendant had for many years operated successfully, as equal partners, at Gaffney, South Carolina, a newspaper, printing business, and stationery shop, under the name of The Gaffney Ledger, in a building owned by the partnership.
