I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Stone Street Asset Trust (“Stone Street Trust”) instituted the case at bar, seeking a declaration of ownership to property located within the district. Currently before the court is defendant Obey Financial Group’s (“Obey’s”) motion to dismiss or, in the alternative, stay proceedings in federal court. Obey moves for the court to abstain from exercising its subject matter jurisdiction pending the resolution of a proceeding currently ongoing in Louisiana.
