NAHMIAS, Justice.

In August 1994, Appellant David Lee Morgan was convicted and sentenced for the 1993 felony murder of Valencia Wright. After an extraordinary 17-year delay in resolving Appellant’s motion for new trial, his appeal has finally reached this Court. We affirm.

1. The evidence at trial, viewed in the light most favorable to the verdict, showed the following.
