In 1977, the defendant was found guilty on two charges of murder in the second degree and one of armed *124robbery.1 At the time, although “a claim of appeal” was filed, the defendant never pursued it.2 However, the court later affirmed the denial of the defendant’s motion to set aside the convictions made pursuant to Mass.
