This action to foreclose a mortgage was brought by Investment and Securities Co., a corporation, in the process of liquidating certain assets of the Old National Bank and Union Trust Company of Spokane.

The respondents have moved to dismiss the appeal, on the ground that the bond is insufficient to give jurisdiction. It is conditioned both as a cost and supersedeas bond, and the penalty is but two hundred dollars. The argument in support of the motion is that, since some portion of that amount must be allocated to the supersedeas, the cost bond is necessarily for a lesser amount than the two…
