This is an action of tort to recover for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff by reason of the alleged negligence of the defendants John C. Green (Green) and his son John C. Green, Jr. (Green Jr.). The case is before us on the defendants’ exceptions to the denial of their motion for directed verdicts in their favor on counts 2 and 4 of the plaintiff’s declaration. The jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff on each count.
