Gerry Lee Cherry was convicted of manufacturing or attempting to manufacture methamphetamine (meth), illegal possession of pseudoephedrine or ephedrine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of meth and was sentenced to a controlling term of 96 months. In State v. Cherry, No. 88,462, unpublished opinion filed May 23, 2003, the Court of Appeals affirmed the convictions but remanded for resentencing pursuant to State v. Frazier, 30 Kan.
