OPINION

FABE, Justice.

I. INTRODUCTION

Kyle Schaub sued K & L Distributors, Inc. for breach of contract after being terminated for failing to notify his supervisor of his absence from three consecutive days of work, as required under the parties’ collective bargaining agreement. The superior court granted K & L’s motion for summary judgment, concluding that Schaub failed to exhaust his administrative remedies and was not excused from doing so.
