The dispositive issue in this appeal is the extent to which Connecticut’s Unfair Trade Practices Act; General Statutes §§ 42-110a through 42-110q (CUTPA, the act); provides a cause of action to clients of a law firm contesting a law firm’s suit to collect legal fees.
