Appeals (1) from a judgment of the County Court of Greene County (Pulver, Jr., J.), rendered July 28, 1998, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of promoting prison contraband in the first degree, and (2) from a judgment of said court, rendered November 24, 1998, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of assault in the first degree.
