WUEST, Chief Justice.

Larry and Dianna Prokop (Prokops) appeal from a summary judgment order which limited their recovery under a homeowners’ policy to $2750.00. We affirm.

In July of 1986, North Star Mutual Insurance Company (North Star) issued a *863homeowners’ insurance policy to the Prok-ops. The policy covered the Prokops’ house located at 4021 Palisade Lane, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This policy provided, in pertinent part, as follows:
