Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Lakritz, J.), rendered January 5, 1988, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant provided a videotaped statement in which he admitted beating his two-year-old daughter because she was "misbehaving” and then immersing her several times in a bathtub until the child became unresponsive.
