This is an appeal of an order from the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (Commission) affirming the award of attorney’s fees in a workers’ compensation action.
On April 10, 1987, Thomas Hunt was injured while working for Laclede Gas Company. In a conversation with his old acquaintance Michael McAvoy, Hunt hired the law firm of McAvoy and Bumb, P.C., to represent him in the prosecution of his workers’ compensation claim.
