I. Introduction

The plaintiff, Regina C. Graham, brought this suit under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (the “ADEA” or the “Act”), 29 U.S.C. § 626(b), alleging that her employer, defendant Renbrook School (“Renbrook”), discriminated against her on account of her age in failing to offer her one of a number of open positions following a reorganization that eliminated her former job.
