Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Matthews, J.), rendered March 13, 1984, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial (Maraño, J.), without a hearing, of those branches of the defendant’s supplemental omnibus motion *683which were to suppress certain physical evidence and certain statements made by him.
