This case comes to us as a certified question from the Court of Appeals. 1 ' The case involves, among other things, the question of whether the United States Supreme Court decision in Southland Corp. v. Keating, 465 U.S. 1, 104 S.Ct. 852, 79 L.Ed.2d 1 (1984), concerning the supremacy of the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), overrules to a limited extent this court’s decision in Kiehne v.
