This matter arises from a wrongful termination action filed in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County by the petitioner Charles Magnetti, a state employee, against the University of Maryland, College Park, the College of Art and Humanities, and Dr. Michael Marcuse—the Director of the Professional Writing Program, a program within the College of Arts and Humanities (collectively, “the University”), the respondents.
