I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Service Employees International Union National Industry Pension Fund is an “employee benefit plan” and a “multiemployer plan” under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).1 The Fund provides pension benefits to eligible employees of contributing employers.
