VERGERONT, PJ.

¶ 1. Garren G. Gribble appeals a judgment of conviction of first-degree reckless homicide in violation of Wis. Stat. § 940.02(1) (1997-98), and an order denying his motion for post-conviction relief. The charges arose out of the death of an infant. Gribble contends that the trial court erred by: (1) questioning jurors outside the presence of Gribble and his attorney; (2) excluding testimony of a defense witness as a sanction for noncompliance with a discovery order entered under Wis.
