This is a lawyer disciplinary proceeding. The respondent, Gary S. Melvin, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor criminal charges. Melvin’s criminal convictions form the underlying basis for this disciplinary proceeding. A panel of the Board on Professional Responsibility issued a report, following a hearing, recommending that this Court suspend Melvin from the practice of law for a period of one year.
