MARTIN, Judge.

Appellants appeal from the decision of the Board of Appeals affirming the examiner’s rejection, as obvious over the prior art, of claims 2 and 4 through 10 of their application, serial No. 687,806, filed October 2, 1957, for Information Storage Device. No claims are allowed.

The invention relates to an information storage device which utilizes the property of superconductivity possessed by certain metals and alloys. The application points out that at low temperatures approaching absolute zero (0 degrees Kelvin), such materials go through a transition into a superconducting state…
