Gentlemen of the jury:—This is an action instituted by James M. Brown, the plaintiff, against the Mayor and Council of Wilmington, the defendant, to recover damages for personal injuries which he alleges he sustained by being run into and knocked down by an automobile driven and operated by one of the defendant’s servants.
