The Kansas City Downtown Minority Development Corporation (DMDC) appeals the judgment of the trial court in favor of Wedgestone Financial and its subsidiary Corrigan Building Corporation (together, “Wedgestone”) upon DMDC’s civil suit for judicial foreclosure and equitable subrogation and for damages stemming from a loan made by DMDC to Corrigan Associates Limited Partnership (Corrigan Associates).
