MITCHELL, Justice.

The issue before this Court is whether the Court of Appeals erred in reversing the trial court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the defendant Dr. Richard John Kazior. To resolve this issue, we must decide whether there was a forecast of evidence tending to show that the defendant, in his capacity as an on-call supervising physician, owed a duty of reasonable care to the plaintiffs.
